Today you're going to meet a woman who inspires with serenity and inner truth. Arantxa Coca has not only dedicated her life to therapy and science communication, but she has also become a luminous voice reminding us that growth can also come from calm, gratitude, and the everyday.
In this intimate interview, Arantxa shares how her curiosity about the human soul led her to accompany thousands of people in their transformation processes, what lessons she has learned from more than 20 years of experience, and how simplicity can be the highest form of spirituality.
Keep reading and discover why her human, honest, and conscious perspective can help you reconnect with what's essential: being alive, giving thanks, and letting go.

When we asked her how she defines herself , Arantxa answered without hesitation:
“I am only two things, there are only two things I allow myself to identify with: I am a human being and I am a mother. I take the use of the verb 'to be' very seriously…” I believe I'm at this point in my life. I've decided that many aspects of my life are temporary, belonging only to a specific period, then they change and disappear. What I will always be until the day I die is human and a mother, with the responsibility that both entail.
Her professional vocation has also always been linked to personal growth and dissemination:
“My vocation is personal growth therapy and scientific dissemination; I have been dedicated to this for more than twenty years.”

A life guided by human curiosity
From a young age, Arantxa already showed a special sensitivity towards other people's emotions.
“My story is that of a girl who gave advice from a very young age. To his family, his school friends, and his toys. I would observe my teachers in class, not so much what they explained, but how they explained it, and I would think, "This one's not having a good day." One day I dared to tell my English teacher after class; I remember it was 6th grade (the equivalent of 6th grade today). I said , "Maido, is something wrong?" He stared at me, wide-eyed, and stormed out of the classroom. A few minutes later, the head of studies came in and shouted , "Can you tell me why I found Maido crying in the hallway?" Humans, and more than their behavior, their way of living their lives, of understanding them, always intrigued me, a burning need to decipher the person in front of me.
That innate curiosity led her to study Psychology, Educational Sciences and to obtain a doctorate, driven by a deep desire to understand the human soul.
“It motivates me to know that I am alive”
Far from grandiloquent speeches, his daily motivation stems from the everyday :
“ Clearly: knowing I'm alive isn't just a slogan, it really isn't. I've seen suffering, pain, and illness in my profession, and all of that either depresses me and makes me say , "What a miserable life," or it pushes me to appreciate something as simple as knowing I'm alive and well. It motivates me to know that in a few minutes I'll have a steaming latte in my hand, that I'll then go to the supermarket because I ran out of laundry detergent, and that in the mid-afternoon I'll try out a new foaming soap that was recommended to me in the long shower I'll take before continuing with my afternoon's work. Things like that, details, small blessings that one must learn to see. Ultimately, if I have a life, I'm going to live it with dignity. I owe it to my parents, my children, and myself.
The beginnings: “I just wanted to listen and give back”
When he began his professional career, he did so with humility and dedication:
“I don’t know. I just did it, I didn’t plan it much. I only knew I wanted two chairs and a clean room to start listening to people’s stories. I guess the answer is with enthusiasm and excitement…” (And I wasn't exactly rolling in dough, I was barely 24). I just wanted to listen and give back, listen and give back. I set up a room at home and on the days I had people over I tried not to cook stews so the house wouldn't smell! That's how I grew until I could afford to rent a small office elsewhere.”
One of his biggest challenges, he confesses, was constant training:
“When you’re in front of the patient, you’re alone. That person places their life in your hands. I didn’t panic, but I went crazy looking for workshops, conferences, supervisions. I dedicated more hours to training than to working, but I don’t regret it.”
From consultation to television
An unexpected turn of events marked his path:
“When I went to the casting call for a television program, I never had any media aspirations, but they paid well and I was a good talker. I saw the line of psychologists and I was about to leave… but it was pouring rain and my taxi had left. So I stayed, did the audition, and they hired me. From then on, a world of public speaking on television and radio opened up, and it hasn't stopped since.”

A piece of advice for your past self
“Keep going, you know you’re good at this. Do it for yourself and to give it to everyone. If you have something, and you know you have it, acknowledge it. It’s not vanity, it’s a gift that you must nurture and offer.”
With this phrase, Arantxa summarizes her philosophy of life: purpose is not sought, it is expressed. What you possess internally has the obligation to flourish and be shared.
Living with purpose: the simplicity of being alive
“I have no other purpose than to get up and live. If that makes you happy, you’ll be happy with everything else that comes. Appreciate your life, appreciate your talent. If you honor that, things will come.”
Among his most important influences, he highlights his mentor, Dr. José Luis Camino:
“ Yes, of course. I'm aware that I don't think this way on my own, but rather because of people I've considered my teachers and whose teachings I've incorporated into my life. I especially want to highlight my mentor in therapy, Dr. José Luis Camino. He's no longer with us, but I assure you that every time I sit down to see patients, I think of him.
And their two daily pillars are clear:
“Sports and meditation. Always. I can give up everything except my session.”

“Project yourself in your mind: your project already exists within you”
Arantxa leaves a powerful message for women who dream of starting a business or creating something of their own :
“Your project is not yet a reality on a social level, but it should be on a mental level. In your mind, you've already done it, you're already there, see how you shine? Now you just have to bring it out. Bring it out. Don't put conditions on it (that it allows me to make money, advertise, have a nice place, etc.), none of that or you'll get distracted. Now you just have to bring it out.
And when roadblocks appear, their formula is simple and effective:
“I drop EVERYTHING and go for a walk or do some cardio. It’s my reset button.” What do you do when a gadget freezes? You hit the reset button and it starts all over again, right? The mind works the same way. Find your reset button; there's no point in dwelling on it. It's better to just turn it off and on again. I put on my sneakers and reset.
His greatest lesson
“Appreciate being alive, give thanks, and let go. The three steps: alive, thank you, let go. It has been and continues to be my best lesson learned.”
Looking to the future
"Keep going. Try to keep my health from failing me so I can continue to appreciate so many things, continue to give thanks, and say goodbye to everyone when the time comes."
And if I could leave a message for all the women reading this, it would be this:
“You are a miracle. Perhaps you weren't seen that way as a child, but now you must make this conviction strong within yourself. If you believe in your inner abundance, outer abundance will follow.”
